It only takes a spark to get the fire going.
And soon all those around can warm up in its glowing.
That’s how it is with God’s love,
Once you have experienced it
You want to sing
You feel like spring
A few of us gathered together for Secret Santa tidings, divided by names and united through a common Christmas spirit of sharing. And it is in this spirit that we bring this blog chain to you.
I am thankful to Shalini Nair for passing on the baton of spreading Christmas joy and spirit.
It is here through words that I unwrap Christmas on my blog for you.
******
The year that went by changed me,
for good or bad I let it be.
I lived extremities this year,
everything tossed severely.
I cried, stumbled and maybe fell,
The reason I can not tell.
I laughed, achieved and flew,
I know somewhere in between I grew.
I have had sleepless nights,
in the ark searching for lights.
Many things I have lost and found.
at times I still go underground.
Writing the sorrow and joy away,
made me look forward to the next day.
I still know not the cause of pain,
but it was all an overall gain.
I loved myself more than before,
stopped worrying thinking of what’s in store.
Happiness I found in me,
My heart now lighter and free.
Oh, there is something in this month’s air,
filling the heart with empathy and care.
Of love, cheer and learning,
I end this year’s earning!
This year has been a bumpy ride and has left me with lessons for life. This Christmas, what are your reflections of the year that went by?
I now invite one of my favorite person Richa Singh to spread the message of Christmas and new years on her blog.
And this GIF is in my mind right now:
I loved myself more than before,
stopped worrying thinking of what’s in store
I am almost there on the first part but it is the second one that I am taking time with. Super control freak that I am, I need more work to be done before I can reach here..

Love the poem…. It’s only after the year is over that we know what a year it was… Otherwise who knows what a year’s gonna bring in…
