She gives life,
and tries to be the perfect wife.
Dons the sisterhood cap when in need,
She finishes the chores in lightning speed.
She multi-tasks almost her entire life,
A master in computers, books, life, and the knife.
A lava of emotions,
Her mind always in commotion.
She is the stream that connects families,
She cries, rants , falls and gets back with a bang.
She is called names, harassed or abused,
at work, home or roads and her silence misused.
But we never give up,
possess the power to turn the world downside up.
The past and the present is a proof of her bravery,
Don’t mistake her patience and power as weakness.
And it is Day 29 of UBC!
More power to women. I wonder what would have happened if you were not there. Your series is worth compilation
The power of a woman spelled so well. Educated and multi-tasker, they always find fault. So happy to see you writing on women in such an amazing way.
Yes! Agree with every word! Well written!
Beautiful… I am still in recovery from trying to be everything to everyone. One day at a time <3
I really like this line: “She multi-tasks almost her entire life,
A master in computers, books, life, and the knife.
A lava of emotions,
Her mind always in commotion.”
My husband teased that I was losing my hearing because he could sneak up on me easily; I told him no, I was just always thinking deeply about something! 🙂
Wendy | The Art of “Why Not?” recently posted…What If You Really COULD Change The World?
“She multi-tasks almost her entire life”- Agree with this and everything else Ramya..loved your series 🙂
