You can read Shalini’s latest post in her fiction series here.

And here goes the poem that she has penned keeping in mind the theme I am following:

I am a woman.
I am earth, I am a mother.
I feed, nourish and nurture.

I am a woman.
I am a friend, I am a sister.
I love fun, mirth, and laughter.

I am a woman.
I am a guide, I am a teacher.
I impart knowledge, wisdom, and mentor.
I am a woman.
I am a provider, I am an inventor.
I sacrifice, toil and filter.

I am a woman.
I am an artist, I am a writer.
I imagine, create and inspire.

I am a woman.
I am a multi-tasker, I am a traveler.
I celebrate myself with passion and laughter.
I am a woman.
I am an influence, I am a healer,
I talk & understand by being a listener.

I am a woman.
I am strength, I am the endurer,
Of the pains and trials with an error.

I am a woman.
I am calm, I am patience,
I believe in gratitude and blessings with grace.

I am a woman.
I am faith, I am a believer,
Of intuitions, dreams and prayers.

This post is written for Day 14 of UBC.
