What you dont know
Is today I hit a new low.
Behind the happy face is a bad day,
So think a lot before anything you say.
What you don’t know,
Is that my pain I don’t want to show.
I don’t want to discuss it for a change,
Is it strange ?
What you don’t know,
Is it is difficult to let go.
Pages it would take if i started to ink.
If I shared all that I over think.
What you dont know,
Is writing this gives me a high after the low.
The bad day turned good
And shows how well I withstood.
Writing this post for Day 2 of Barathon
Well said Ramya. A good bit of writing is so satisfying. It can make the difference between a good or a bad day.

Yayy! Great minds think alike…I wrote a poem too today! Loved your poem as it ends on a positive note after a depressing day!
Writing is always therapeutic. I feel good on a bad day once the words flow out on the paper.

Glad that the written words washed away the blues! Words have that magical power to do just that!!
What you don’t know is that you’re very good with words.. And this one is awesome 🙂 🙂
That transition from a bad day to a good one and the part that writing plays in it – very good. Enjoyed that!

Writing does take away the pain. The pain that nobody else but the writer knows.Conveyed so beautifully in a poem!
There are so many times when we put on our brave faces and manage to achieve things at lightning speeds. But the inside of our brains tell a different story.
Good poem, Ramya 🙂
