Let Me Be Me

At my success you found mistakes,
My life is  a roller coaster with no brakes.
At every step you tried to stop the ride,
Very few stood by my side.
In my downfall you took pride.
At my failures me you mocked,
The more potentials I unlocked.
Let me be me I say,
Your opinions you don’t lay.
From other life away you stay.
Taunting me you stop,
The fake smile you can drop.
You are tolerated because I am not you,
I am the bird from the cage who long ago flew.
